We’re all about using superb ingredients, so we keep things fresh by sourcing seasonal produce right from locals on the island. It tastes better that way, helps out the folks growing it nearby, and cuts down our carbon footprint without any extra fuss.
Wasting food is taken serious around here, so we keep portions just right, get creative with mixing ingredients to use everything up, and send whatever’s left straight to our biodigester. It turns scraps into clean energy without any hassle. Good for the plate, good for the planet.


It’s important for us to keep things right with the ocean, so all our seafood comes from responsible, sustainable catches. Everything’s checked and certified by top sustainability groups, which means we’re helping protect marine life and keeping the seas healthy for the long run.
We keep things green at Hakuna Matata, so we’ve cut back on single-use plastics and switched to the most eco-friendly packaging we can find. On top of that, we recycle what we can and compost food scraps. Small steps that add up without making anything feel complicated.
