On top of ensuring quality ingredients, we source fresh, seasonal, and locally- produced ingredients to support nearby farmers while significantly reducing our carbon footprint at the same time.
Our kitchen strictly adheres to efficient practices aimed at minimizing food waste, including careful portion control and innovative mix of ingredients, and the use of a biodigester to efficiently recycle food waste into energy.


Welcome to ethical dining: We serve responsibly sourced seafood caught using sustainable practices. Our dishes are certified by leading sustainability organizations to support ocean biodiversity.
With environmental responsibility in mind, Hakuna Matata proactively engages in recycling programs by minimizing single-use plastics and using only the most eco-friendly packaging solutions. Our efforts to reduce waste also include composting and digesting organic materials.
